Jill Miller, the creator of Yoga Tune Up® The Roll Model® Method and therapy ball system states: "The Roll Model® Method is a self treatment massage method that teaches you to use a variety of pliable rubber balls to eradicate your aches and pains and reforms your body from the inside out. It helps with the 3 P's: pain, posture and performance....helps you to identify your body blind spots (areas in your body that are catalysts for pain and injury)...awaken your senses and heighten your awareness of your own tension, pain and coordination so you can move better." This 3 part series will investigate the HIPS and explore all of the areas of the body that feed into or connect with the hips that make movement challenging. Over this 3 month exploration, the areas of interest that we investigate are feet and ankles, calves and shins, knees, hamstrings, adductors/abductors, quadriceps, gluteous and lower back...to name the key areas. You will receive a small handout outlining the techniques covered in each workshop. Each workshop will focus on different techniques yet all focusing on releasing the hips.
Cancellations for group class must be at least 12hrs before scheduled class time to receive credit to your account.
