During 85min Yoga Nidra (sleep yoga) class, you will enter a calming state for the mind and body through a guided meditation. The practice creates physical and mental activities that change brain waves to release emotional tension, slow down the nervous system, and allow muscles to relax. This naturally relieves stress in the body and mind. Alleviating stress can also relieve headaches and muscle tension. IT IS COMPLETELY NATURAL TO FALL ASLEEP IN THIS PRACTICE. The body is resting in a Savasana or supported Savasana posture for the duration of the class. You are supported with as many props as you need to find complete comfort. Please dress warm and comfortable. Please bring your own pillows blankets eye pillows/eye covering and bolsters if you own your own.
Cancellations for group class must be at least 12hrs before scheduled class time to receive credit to your account.
